
Site Manager
OVERVIEW
Atkins Search are working in partnership a key main contractor to appoint an experienced Site Manager for their interiors Division.
CLIENT
Our client operates a specialist interiors and fit-out division, known for delivering high-quality internal works across commercial, education, leisure and healthcare environments.
With continued growth in secured workload across the Midlands, Project Solutions are looking to strengthen their site delivery team with an experienced Site Manager from a drylining, plastering or interior finishing background.
ROLE
This position will focus on the management of interior fit-out and refurbishment packages on behalf of specific, valued clients, ensuring the highest standards of delivery on-site. The role requires a hands-on Site Manager who understands the details and pace of internal finishes, with particular emphasis on drylining, plastering and ceilings.
You will be responsible for supervising subcontractors, driving programme and maintaining site safety and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day site management of interior packages on refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Supervision of drylining, plastering, ceiling, joinery and general finishes subcontractors
- Maintain and enforce health & safety standards in line with company and legal requirements
- Conduct daily site briefings, inductions, toolbox talks and ensure RAMS compliance
- Monitor progress against programme and coordinate sequencing of works
- Liaise with Contracts Managers, clients and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
- Manage site records, diaries and quality inspections
- Oversee snagging and project handover process
PERSON
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in fit-out or interiors, ideally with a drylining/plastering trade background
- Strong knowledge of internal construction sequencing and finishing trades
- Comfortable managing subcontractors and enforcing quality and safety standards
- CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications required
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to programme
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working on projects in sectors such as education, healthcare or commercial is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
REMUNERATION
- Salary: £46,000 per annum
- Car Allowance or Company Vehicle
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
