As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Loughborough, you’ll play a key role in leading projects across the Midlands and beyond. You will contribute to strategic cost planning, oversee junior team members, and act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Loughborough, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality cost consultancy and commercial management services throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and delivering end-to-end project cost management
• Supervising junior surveyors and apprentices to support their development
• Acting as the main client liaison pre- and post-contract
• Managing commercial relationships and cost reporting
• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, tender documentation, and BOQs
• Supporting JCT and NEC contract administration
• Promoting the company at industry and networking events
• Delivering accurate, timely, and value-driven services to exceed client expectations

The ideal candidate for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role in Loughborough will be an experienced professional with a strong track record in private practice or construction consultancy. To be successful in this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will need:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or related field
• Chartered status (MRICS) or actively working towards qualification
• Experience within a construction consultancy, cost consultancy, or private practice
• Knowledge of UK building contracts and construction law
• Strong communication and commercial negotiation skills
• Proficiency in CostX software (preferred)
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
