Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Sheffield, you will:

  • Take the lead on a variation of construction projects while mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and apprentices
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients and design teams throughout both pre- and post-contract stages
  • Oversee key client accounts and cultivating lasting professional relationships
  • Ensure the delivery of top-tier commercial surveying services in alignment with company quality standards
  • Actively identifying growth opportunities and representing the company at industry and networking events
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations

Person

The successful applicant for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position in Sheffield will demonstrate:

  • Ability to deliver comprehensive cost management services across various construction projects in Sheffield
  • Providing expert cost advice and strategic input throughout project lifecycles
  • Preparing detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
  • Managing procurement processes and contract administration for major construction projects
  • Conducting valuations, prepare payment certificates and manage final accounts
  • Monitoring and reporting on project financial performance and risk management
  • Leading negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value
  • Supporting business development activities and contribute to company growth in the Yorkshire and the Northern construction sector

Remuneration
