Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning, highly reputable Construction Consultancy based in Nottingham. Our client is a market-leading, highly reputable Construction Consultancy based in Nottingham, delivering various schemes across the public and private sectors including; residential, retail, education, leisure, mixed-use developments, industrial/logistics, automotive, aviation, commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.
Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
- Providing general Cost Management services from inception to completion
- Cost planning
- Cost management
- Value engineering
- Tender analysis
- Financial reporting
- Completing valuations
- Overseeing and mentoring junior members of staff including assistants and apprentices
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will also have the opportunity to assist with Business Development; attending networking events and attending client meetings
Person
To be successful in application for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you must be able to demonstrate a history of leading, managing, and overseeing projects, as well as a proven record of building/maintaining client relationships.
The ideal candidate will also have managed a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing support and mentorship.
RICS Chartered or at least working towards.
