Senior Project Manager

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a UK‑based Construction Consultancy that delivers exceptional service, resulting in repeat business and strong client recommendations. Due to continued growth, they now require an experienced individual to join their Birmingham team.

As a Senior Project Manager based in Birmingham, you will play a pivotal role in delivering prestigious schemes with a hands‑on approach throughout the full project life cycle, from initial concept through to completion, across a broad range of sectors including (but not limited to) Residential, Retail, Leisure, Commercial, Industrial, Public, Renewable and Master Planning.

As a Senior Project Manager based in Birmingham, your responsibilities will include:

• Advising at a strategic level during early project conception
• Leading on overall project success criteria including time, cost, technical delivery and performance
• Planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environmental requirements
• Project planning
• Advising on procurement of resources
• Leading and coordinating the cross‑functional project team
• Monitoring performance, including the use of KPI’s
• Managing and advising on project financials
• Taking responsibility for business development, including cross‑selling
• Attending client meetings and reporting to Associate Directors

To be a successful Senior Project Manager in Birmingham, you will align with the responsibilities listed above and also:

• Have experience in a similar construction‑focused role, ideally within a consultancy
• Hold a relevant degree qualification
• Demonstrate proven experience in managing commercial projects
• Be confident engaging with stakeholders and handling issues constructively and professionally
