Our client is a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering project management and

cost consultancy services. Working across commercial, residential, public sector, and mixed-use developments, they pride themselves on providing practical solutions and building long-standing relationships with their clients.

With an expanding portfolio of work, they are now seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to strengthen their Bristol team.

Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead on complex and high-value construction projects, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality requirements. You will act as the main client contact, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and provide guidance to junior colleagues.

This role would suit a Senior Project Manager with solid consultancy experience, confident in managing multiple projects and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager role include:

  • Leading projects throughout all stages of the lifecycle
  • Acting as the main client contact and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Preparing, monitoring, and reporting on programmes, budgets, and risks
  • Chairing meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and support to junior colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures and industry standards
  • Delivering a high level of client service and communication

Person

To be successful in this role, candidates should ideally have:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within a construction consultancy environment
  • Relevant degree-level qualification (or equivalent)
  • Professional chartership (MRICS, MAPM or similar) preferred
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience chairing client meetings and leading project teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
