ROLE
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple complex construction projects for a prestigious Central Government client.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects delivered to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget, while managing operational risks, specifications, and compliance across the full project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager include:
- Leading and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept to completion
- Implementing and monitoring project design management protocols
- Administering and managing NEC contracts effectively
- Managing and reporting on project performance, timelines, and resource allocation
- Leading stakeholder and client engagement to ensure project satisfaction
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior project team members
- Please note: Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be willing and able to obtain BPSS security clearance.
PERSON
To be successful in this role, the ideal Senior Project Manager should demonstrate:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction or property sector
- Proven success delivering projects from early design through to completion
- In-depth understanding of design and construction processes, including JCT and NEC3 contracts
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Experience in bid writing and client-facing proposal delivery
Desirable attributes:
- Experience within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
- Commitment to CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, or similar) or actively pursuing Chartership
- Government or public sector project experience
- Eligibility to gain BPSS security clearance
