Role
As a Senior Project Manager based in Sheffield, you will play a crucial role in delivering the prestigious schemes with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle from inception to completion across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to; Residential, Retail, Leisure, Commercial, Industrial, Public, Renewable and Master planning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage
- Leading the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Project planning
- Advising upon the procurement of resources
- Leading the overall cross-functional project team
- Monitoring performance, including the use of KPI’s
- Monitoring and advising upon project finances
- Taking responsibility for business development – including cross selling
- Attending client meetings and reporting to Associate directors
Person
To be successful in this Senior Project Manager job in Sheffield you will need to bring experience working within a construction consultancy environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally a Construction Consultancy
- Be competent in using Microsoft Project and Excel
- Have comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles
- A good understanding of forms of building contract and experience of contract administration
- Have previous experience of NEC and JCT forms of contract
- Have the ability to engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively
Remuneration
