Senior Electrical Contracts Manager

This role has the scope for the successful candidate to progress into the Operations Manager that will oversee the whole electrical department and team in the business.

Based in Derby, our client holds over 20 years’ experience as the number one choice services contractor for a number of regional and national construction main contractors and developers in England, as well as for a number of blue-chip commercial and educational institutions around the country.

As a Senior Electrical Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in managing electrical projects from start to finish up to the value of £6m. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and your team to ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

• Lead and manage electrical building projects to meet all objectives
• Develop and keep track of project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Visit sites regularly to check on progress and ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Prepare and present project updates and financial reports
• Identify and solve any project risks or issues quickly
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment

• Previous experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager delivering commercial projects
• Experience delivering electrical projects up to the value of £5m
• Excellent project awareness and understanding of the need to adhere to programme, to maximise revenue
• Problem solver with a dynamic and proactive approach to finding effective solutions.
• Proven and extensive people management experience
• Communicates clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication
• Strong team player
