Role
As a Quantity Surveyor in Cambridge, you will take a leading role in the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams, you will manage costs, procurement, and contract administration to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting across projects
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration
- Prepare and review valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control strategies
- Liaise with contractors and consultants to ensure commercial compliance
- Contribute to risk management and value engineering processes
- Attend and lead project meetings, providing commercial insight
- Support client objectives and provide strategic cost advice
Person
To be successful in this Quantity Surveyor job in Cambridge, you will bring solid experience in construction cost management and a proactive approach to project delivery.
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
- Background in consultancy or main contracting environments preferred
- Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline desirable
- Working towards or MRICS accreditation advantageous
Remuneration

Package includes:
- Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
- 28 days annual leave + bank holidays
