Role
As a Quantity Surveyor in Nottingham, you'll manage cost planning, procurement and contract administration on construction schemes, working under NEC and JCT contracts. You'll provide expert commercial advice to clients, coordinate valuations and ensure projects deliver value for money whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.

Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor in Nottingham, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
- Manage procurement processes including tender analysis and contractor negotiations
- Administer contracts including monthly valuations
- Provide cost management support to clients throughout project lifecycles
- Monitor project budgets and cost reporting to ensure financial control
- Coordinate with project management and design teams to align project programme
- Support business development through client relationship management
Person
To be successful in this Quantity Surveyor job in Nottingham, you will bring solid post-graduate experience with strong commercial awareness.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, cost consultant or commercial manager
- Consultancy, main contracting or developer background preferred
- Working towards RICS chartered status or qualified MRICS with active CPD commitment
- Strong contract administration knowledge and commercial negotiation skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Economics
- Experience with NEC or JCT contracts and cost management software advantageous
Remuneration
