As a Quantity Surveyor in Nottingham, you'll manage cost planning, procurement and contract administration on construction schemes, working under NEC and JCT contracts. As a Quantity Surveyor in Nottingham, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
• Manage procurement processes including tender analysis and contractor negotiations
• Administer contracts including monthly valuations
• Provide cost management support to clients throughout project lifecycles
• Monitor project budgets and cost reporting to ensure financial control
• Coordinate with project management and design teams to align project programme
• Support business development through client relationship management

To be successful in this Quantity Surveyor job in Nottingham, you will bring solid post-graduate experience with strong commercial awareness.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, cost consultant or commercial manager
• Consultancy, main contracting or developer background preferred
• Working towards RICS chartered status or qualified MRICS with active CPD commitment
• Strong contract administration knowledge and commercial negotiation skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Economics
• Experience with NEC or JCT contracts and cost management software advantageous
