Quantity Surveyor

​Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a market leading, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Sheffield.

Please note - if you're an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, you will also be considered for this role!

As Quantity Surveyor based out of the Sheffield office, you will have the option to work across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, residential, retail, education, leisure, mixed-use developments, industrial/logistics, commercial etc. This role will offer you the opportunity to become an integral part of a highly reputable construction consultancy, creating positive impacts whilst operating across a wide variety of exciting projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor in Sheffield, your responsibilities will include:

• Pre-construction
• Programme management
• Client-side project management
• Contract administration
• Risk management
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Employers agent
• Post contract management
• Close liaison with Clients and Contractors
• Undertake a proactive approach with projects, clients (building and maintaining relationships)

To be successful in application for this Quantity Surveyor role, you must...

• Hold a construction related degree
• Project Management role experience (consultancy desired)
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to manage relationship effectively
• Proactive approach to achieving results
