Role

As a Quantity Surveyor based in Sheffield, you will:

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and legal professionals for cohesive and timely project execution
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships and providing consistent support across key client accounts
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and design teams throughout all project phases
  • Supporting the senior leadership team in the planning and execution of construction initiatives
  • Delivering professional surveying services that meet both client expectations and company quality standards

Person

The successful applicant for this Quantity Surveyor position in Sheffield will demonstrate:

  • Deliver comprehensive cost management services across various construction projects in Sheffield
  • Provide expert cost advice and strategic input throughout project lifecycles
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
  • Manage procurement processes and contract administration for major construction projects
  • Conduct valuations, prepare payment certificates and manage final accounts
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance and risk management
  • Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value
  • Support business development activities and contribute to company growth in the Yorkshire and Northern construction sector
