Quantity Surveyor

Atkins Search have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s leading construction main contractors, to join their growing Commercial team in the East Midlands. Based between the Nottingham office and sites across the East Midlands, you will be supporting large-scale projects ranging from £15M to £60M across various sectors.

The Quantity Surveyor will assist the commercial management of multiple large projects, supported by a team of Assistant and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

This role involves the commercial oversight of high-value, complex schemes from start to finish, ensuring cost control and contractual compliance. Experience working on similar-sized projects for principal contractors is desirable.

• Support in the production and presentation of monthly project reports to senior management
• Involvement in two-stage tender process
• Update project costs regularly and assist with forecasting
• Provide commercial and contractual expertise across projects
• Support the junior members of the Commercial team
• Support procurement strategies and manage subcontractor agreements

• Proven experience working with JCT contracts, ideally design and build
• Experience working with main contractors in the new build construction sector
• Based within the East Midlands and able to commute to Nottingham
