Our construction consultancy distinguished client, a highly reputable, large, multi-disciplinary construction business are continuing in growing as they succeed in winning projects across the country. Therefore, are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor position to join them in their Birmingham office.

Currently delivering some of the most prestigious schemes across the West Midlands within the public and private sector. Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering the prestigious schemes across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to; Defence, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Commercial Developments, and Industrial.
Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and mentoring junior members of staff including assistants and apprentices
- Providing Cost Management services from inception to completion
- Cost planning
- Cost management
- Value engineering
- Tender management
- Financial reporting
- Budget management
- Employers agent
- Valuations
Person
The ideal Quantity Surveyor will:
- Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally consultancy
- Have a Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience in managing commercial projects
- Have the ability to engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively
Remuneration
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be rewarded with:
