Are you a Project Manager looking for your next role In Oxford? Atkins Search are currently working in partnership to support a Construction Consultancy in Oxford who’re looking for a Project Manager to work on a across a range of Care Home contracts for their business.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working Hybrid in Oxford across a people focused business that was established over 70 years ago.

Our client is a customer focused, value driven end to end consultancy that have recently expanded to 3 global locations alongside 6 UK locations. Unlike some larger consultancies where senior leadership can be quite removed, this client actively promote hands-on director involvement with both clients and project teams. They provide opportunities to work on high-profile, multi-sector projects and potentially explore international opportunities later in a career. As a Project Manager based in Oxford, you will be responsible for the following:

• Leading the successful delivery of care home and healthcare projects from inception through to completion.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, risks, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Overseeing procurement activities, tender processes, contractor appointments, and contract administration.
• Chairing project meetings and providing clear communication and leadership across all project teams.
• Monitoring project performance against key objectives, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies where required.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, planning conditions, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Preparing project reports, managing change control processes, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Supporting business development activities, developing client relationships, and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Working closely with senior leadership to deliver projects in line with company values and best practice standards.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate.

As a Project Manager based in Oxford you will have:

• Experience delivering healthcare, care homes, extra care, residential or mixed-use developments.
• A strong understanding of pre-construction activities including procurement, design coordination, planning and tender management.
• Ability to manage projects through RIBA stages from feasibility to handover.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration.
• Experience working within a consultancy environment would be advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Working towards or already holding professional accreditation such as MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.
