Atkins Search are currently working in partnership with a well-established construction consultancy to recruit a Project Manager for their Sheffield office, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region and wider UK.

Client
Our client is a respected multidisciplinary construction consultancy providing Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Employer's Agent services across a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector projects.
With a reputation built on long-standing client relationships, quality service delivery and a collaborative approach, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for both public and private sector clients. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join their Sheffield team.
Role
As a Project Manager based in Sheffield, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, contractors and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Preparing and maintaining project programmes, risk registers and project reporting documentation.
- Monitoring project performance and proactively managing risks, issues and opportunities.
- Chairing project meetings and providing clear communication to all stakeholders.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to identify new opportunities within existing and prospective client networks.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously across a range of sectors.
- Delivering an exceptional level of service and building long-term client relationships.
Person
The successful candidate for the Project Manager role will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Degree qualified in Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Professional membership with RICS, APM, CIOB or working towards chartership is desirable.
- Previous experience delivering construction projects within a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction project lifecycles.
- Experience managing projects across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential or Industrial.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
