As a Project Manager in Nottingham, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a variety of construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest professional standards.

• Manage multiple construction projects across varied sectors from inception to practical completion and handover.
• Develop comprehensive project briefs, programmes, budgets and risk management strategies for construction schemes.
• Lead procurement processes and contract administration under JCT and NEC contracts.
• Engage with and manage key client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Assess multiple project solutions and prepare fully costed options for client review and decision-making.
• Coordinate design teams, consultants and construction teams to achieve project objectives and delivery milestones.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, cost updates and risk assessments to clients and senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, statutory requirements and construction industry best practice standards.
• Oversee programme management and project controls to ensure schemes are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Contribute to business development activities and support the consultancy's continued growth across Nottingham and the East Midlands.
• Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial team.

To be successful in this Project Manager job in Nottingham, you will bring demonstrable experience working in a client-facing project management role within the construction or property industry.

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the construction consultancy or property sector.
• Experience working across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, housing or public sector developments.
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery from feasibility through to completion and handover.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities for complex construction projects.

• Professional and proactive approach with a focus on collaboration, integrity and client satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence essential for visiting sites across Nottingham and the East Midlands.

Desirable:

• Working towards or holding chartership (RICS, APM or equivalent professional qualification).
• Experience within a construction consultancy or client-side environment managing multiple live projects.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, procurement frameworks and contract administration processes.
• Understanding of cost management, programme management and project controls.
