Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a variety of construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to define objectives, assess options, and implement the most effective project strategies - reflecting the company’s forensic, solution-focused approach.
This role will suit an experienced Project Manager who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and working in a supportive environment that encourages fresh thinking.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager employed by our client, your key duties will include:
- Managing multiple projects across varied sectors from inception to completion
- Developing project briefs, programmes, budgets, and risk strategies
- Leading procurement and contract administration processes
- Engaging with and managing key client and stakeholder relationships
- Assessing multiple solutions and preparing fully costed options for client review
- Coordinating design and construction teams to achieve project objectives
- Preparing and presenting detailed progress reports
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and best practice standards
- Contributing to business development and supporting the consultancy’s continued growth
Person
The ideal Project Manager will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a client-facing project management role within the construction or property industry
- Experience working across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, or housing
- Strong understanding of project delivery from feasibility through to completion
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Professional and proactive approach with a focus on collaboration and integrity
Desirable:
- Working towards or holding chartership (RICS, APM, or equivalent)
- Experience within a consultancy or client-side environment
