Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of real estate projects, including commercial offices, residential developments, leisure facilities, mixed-use schemes, and educational buildings.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects through all stages of the lifecycle - from feasibility and design through to delivery and handover - ensuring that quality, time, and budget objectives are achieved.
This is a client-facing position where you’ll act as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager within this award-winning consultancy, your key duties will include:
- Leading and managing multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Preparing and managing project programmes, budgets, and risk registers
- Managing procurement processes and contract administration
- Coordinating design teams and technical consultants
- Chairing project meetings and preparing progress reports
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety standards
- Mentoring junior members of the project management team
Person
The ideal Project Manager will demonstrate:
- Proven experience delivering projects within real estate sectors (commercial, residential, mixed-use, etc.)
- Experience gained within a construction consultancy or client-side environment
- A degree in a construction-related discipline (Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of project management principles and contract administration (preferably JCT or NEC)
- A proactive, professional approach and a desire to progress within a dynamic consultancy environment
