A new opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join a well-established construction consultancy based in London.

This role offers the chance to manage the delivery of a variety of projects across the capital and wider regions, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. Client

Our client is a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering project management and cost consultancy services. Working across commercial, retail, and education, they pride themselves on providing practical solutions and building long-standing relationships with their clients.

With an expanding workload, they are now looking to strengthen their London team with the addition of an experienced Project Manager.

Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. You will act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

This role would suit a Project Manager with consultancy or client-side experience and a background in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Project Manager role include:

  • Managing projects throughout all stages of the lifecycle
  • Acting as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Preparing and monitoring programmes, budgets, and reports
  • Chairing meetings and coordinating project teams
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures and industry standards
  • Delivering a high level of client service and communication

Person

To be successful in this role, candidates should ideally have:

  • Previous project management experience within construction consultancy
  • Relevant degree-level qualification (or equivalent)
  • Professional chartership (or working towards it) preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience leading meetings and working in a client-facing capacity
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

Remuneration

In return for your skills and experience, our client offers a competitive package including:

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience) up to £55,000
