As a Construction Project Manager, you'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery on high quality schemes up to £15m in value, often working under JCT contracts. You'll possess the experience and knowledge to lead planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement and site delivery to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

As a Project Manager in Birmingham, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing construction projects (depending on size and complexity) from inception to completion, with full support from Senior Management
• Ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the client's requirements, including regular site visits and inspections
• Maintaining and building relationships with clients, stakeholders, project teams and the supply chain to provide exceptional service
• Monitoring project budgets and tracking expenditures using cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Developing project management strategies, including planning, programming and scheduling, to monitor project progress
• Leading programme management and construction delivery across hospitality and commercial sectors
• Overseeing stakeholder management and ensuring compliance with construction project delivery standards

To be successful in this Project Manager job in Birmingham, you will bring significant experience working within a construction consultancy environment, ideally within the leisure, hospitality, commercial and manufacturing sectors.

Essential Requirements:

• A construction-related degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management (or equivalent)
• A proven track record as a Construction Project Manager in a consultancy, client-side, or hospitality-focused environment, with ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience
• A strong understanding of standard construction project management processes and documentation across all RIBA stages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop, build and maintain strong relationships
• Experience with JCT and/or NEC Contracts
• Full UK driving licence for site visits across Birmingham and the Midlands

Highly Desirable:

• SMSTS or NEBOSH certification
• Experience in Senior Project Manager or project leadership roles
• Knowledge of construction delivery management and cost planning
