ROLE

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of a variety of residential and mixed-use development schemes, overseeing project delivery from inception through to completion.

You will act as Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator, manage stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance with development agreements, and provide expert oversight on timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Your work will contribute directly to delivering high-quality homes and community infrastructure across the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential development projects across the UK
  • Acting as Employer’s Agent and/or Contract Administrator in line with legal agreements
  • Overseeing project delivery processes to meet quality, budget, and programme targets
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with developers, housing providers, and contractors
  • Monitoring key project data including plot completions, risk registers, and asset tracking
  • Collaborating with internal teams (compliance, legal, and data) to ensure accurate documentation
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff such as project assistants and apprentices
  • Taking initiative in the absence of senior team members to maintain project momentum
  • Undertaking at least 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually

PERSON

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • A degree in Project Management, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
  • Substantial experience in a consultancy, construction firm, or housing association
  • A proven track record in delivering residential development or regeneration projects
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take on responsibility
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with flexibility for national travel
