Project Manager

Atkins Search are currently sourcing for a Project Manager with previous experience within healthcare projects. This role has become available due to an increase in workload of our client and the upcoming project pipeline. The role is to support the established delivery team on a range of projects across the Midlands.

Our client is a leading, privately owned Main Contractor based in Leicestershire and undertake works across the Healthcare, Commercial and Education sectors on projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £6,500,000 on a Design & Build or pre-designed arrangement.

• Working in conjunction with the site team, ensuring accurate construction whilst maintaining quality and progress.
• Responsible for providing sound advice, guidance, and support to the project team throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
• Produce and manage programme of works.
• Monitor all site health and safety procedures and compliance by all site personnel.
• Liaise with supply chain team to ensure compliance and effective site set up.
• Ensure quality of workmanship in line company expectations.
• Deliver projects to agreed program of works.
• Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.

• Strong Communication skills.
• Person management/Delegation skills.
• Experience delivering a mixture of projects to include new build and refurbishments.
• A good understanding of the building regulations, local authority agreements.
• A methodical, professional, and collaborative approach.
• Ability to organise workload.
• Ability to create a positive and organised site.
• SMSTS essential.
• NVQ Level 6 Construction Management desirable.
