We’re working with a well-established construction contractor delivering a major project in Cambridge and are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager / Logistics Manager to support day-to-day site operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong administration, logistics, and coordination experience to play a central role in maintaining efficient site operations, compliance, and communication. This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of 12 months, offering long-term project exposure on a major construction scheme.

Responsibilities

As an Office Manager / Logistics Manager in Cambridge, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the daily running of the site office and reception area, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, operatives, and suppliers
  • Deliver site inductions to all new personnel, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site protocols
  • Coordinate and manage site deliveries using DataScope, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal disruption to operations
  • Review, track, and organise RAMS documentation, ensuring all records are current and properly filed
  • Maintain site filing systems (digital and hard copy), ensuring documentation is audit compliant and easily accessible
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management teams to coordinate logistics and resolve issues
  • Monitor site access procedures, ensuring all personnel sign in/out and complete required inductions and documentation
  • Support the wider project team with administration, reporting, and coordination duties
  • Assist in organising site welfare, signage, and office supply requirements
  • Ensure all office and logistics processes align with company procedures and health & safety standards

Person

To be successful in this Office Manager / Logistics Manager role, you will need:

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Site Administrator, or Logistics role within construction
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good understanding of RAMS and general construction site documentation
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with site teams, suppliers, and visitors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced site environment

Desirable:

  • Experience using DataScope or similar delivery/logistics management systems
  • Previous experience on large-scale construction projects
  • Knowledge of site access procedures and health & safety compliance

Remuneration

This Office Manager / Logistics Manager opportunity offers:
