Atkins Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a Sheffield based Construction Consultancy for a Chartered MRICS Building Surveyor to join a nationally recognised, proactive team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with hybrid working and excellent career progression all within a market leading Construction Consultancy.

With a solid pipeline of diverse projects across sectors including public buildings, residential, education, healthcare, retail, and commercial, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact while being part of a collaborative, innovative team.

As an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor employed by a Sheffield based multi-sector, multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will:

• Support senior team members in project delivery from inception to completion
• Leading projects and helping with coordinating in house multi discipline design services
• Manage client relationships and expectations
• Apply technical expertise across varied construction projects
• Operate proactively across both project and professional led services

The successful candidate for the MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor job in Sheffield must be able to demonstrate:

• 4+ years of relevant building surveying experience in a construction consultancy environment
• Ambitious, career driven attitude
• A building surveying degree or equivalent qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel applications
• A proactive, positive attitude with confidence communicating at all levels
• All-round technical building surveying knowledge
• An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
