Role
As a Construction Quantity Surveyor part of a Sheffield based Construction Consultancy, you will be working alongside major public sector clients and commercial developers on a variety of interesting projects across Yorkshire.
Reporting directly into a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading from the front as regards to client facing meetings, dealing with multi disciplined teams and project delivery.
This role will suit an experienced Construction Quantity Surveyor who has experience working on a variety of projects within a Main Contracting setting.
Person
The Sheffield based Construction Quantity Surveyor will be able to portray a successful background in delivering projects, as well as:
- RICS, MRICS or APC (or working towards)
- Construction Main Contracting experience (desirable)
- Strong Quantity Surveying background
- Experience of delivering projects with minimal sup
- Ability to manage own workload
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- An analytical mind combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
