Role
As a Building Surveyor based in Manchester, your role will include:
- Support senior surveyors in delivering professional building surveying services
- Supporting senior surveyors with the delivery of building surveying services
- Leading smaller-scale projects independently
- Coordinating with in-house multi-disciplinary design teams
- Providing technical reviews and quality control
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring project timelines, budgets, and standards are met
Person
To be successful in this Building Surveyor job in Manchester, you will bring:
- 1-4 years’ experience working in a building surveying consultancy environment within similar sectors
- A Building Surveying degree or equivalent qualification
- MRICS chartership (preferred but not essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of building surveying practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to produce clear technical reports
- A proactive and professional approach
- Ability to produce clear, high-quality reports with logical recommendations
