Role

As a Building Surveyor based in Manchester, your role will include:

  • Supporting senior surveyors with the delivery of building surveying services
  • Leading smaller-scale projects independently
  • Coordinating with in-house multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Providing technical reviews and quality control
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring project timelines, budgets, and standards are met

Person

To be successful in this Building Surveyor role in Manchester, you should have:

  • Relevant experience in a building surveying construction consultancy environment
  • A Building Surveying degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • Working towards MRICS chartership (or recently chartered)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • All-rounded technical building surveying knowledge
  • Ability to produce clear, high-quality reports with logical recommendations
