• Oversee delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects from inception through to completion
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
• Lead and chair project meetings, design team coordination sessions and issue meeting minutes
• Manage project programmes, budgets and risk registers to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Ensure construction projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
• Support directors in strategic planning, business growth initiatives and consultancy expansion
• Drive a professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach across all project activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and service delivery

To be successful in this Construction Project Manager Cambridge role, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive consultancy and/or client-side experience within the built environment and construction sector
• Proven track record of fee-earning and work-winning, with demonstrable client development skills
• Experience building and managing your own client base through effective networking and relationship management
• Previous leadership and team management experience, including mentoring junior construction professionals
• Ability to balance business development activities with hands-on project delivery and stakeholder management
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills for client engagement and team leadership
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project risk, financial performance and contract administration
• Experience across multi-disciplinary service offerings and multiple construction sectors
• Strategic thinking with a proactive, forward-looking approach to consultancy growth
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MAPM, APM or equivalent industry recognition is highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence for site visits across the Cambridge and South Midlands region
