Atkins Search are recruiting for a Social Value Manager on behalf of a Rugby based client. Social Value Coordinators will also be considered for this role.
Our client are one of the region’s leading construction companies delivering various schemes across the public and private sector of up to circa £20m.
Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for shaping and driving social value strategy to ensure the business are a regional leader in delivering social value. You will also work with operational teams to embed social values policies throughout the business, participate in industry workshops, analyze competition/framework requirements and assist the preconstruction teams in bids. Agile working is available for this role.
Your day to day duties will include (not limited to):
·Planning and promoting events to engage employees in social values
·Undertaking research and collaborating with project teams, customers and communities to develop bespoke action plans
·Working with commercial, marketing and procurement teams to source sustainable solutions
·Advising supply chains to advise of social value requirements
·Engaging with clients to understand their goals in respect to social values
·Establish and maintain analysis and reporting process for the social value in line with TOMs
To be successful for this role, you must have passion and experience in upholding social values and be able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Experience working in the construction industry is ideal, but not essential.
