​Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join an award winning Engineering Consultancy based in Nottingham City Centre.

​

Due to continued organic growth, our client is actively recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician to assistant the Civil Engineers with technical aspects of projects and design solutions for both drainage and highways design for both residential and commercial developments on behalf of private developers and public sector clients.

​

As Senior Civil Engineering Technician, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

​

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior Civil Engineering Technician

  • Excellent working knowledge of CAD, PDS, Civil 3D and/or Microdrainage

  • Excellent knowledge of roads, earthworks, highways and drainage design principles

  • Good understanding of section agreements including S38 and S278, legislative requirements and design standards

  • A confident team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work under minimal supervision

  • Able to support more junior team members and assist with their learning development
