Atkins Search are currently working with a Rugby based main contractor to recruit a HR Assistant to join their team and open to candidate with a range of experience levels
Our client is an established construction main contractor based in Rugby, delivering a mix of projects throughout the region
Working closely with the HR Lead, you will be responsible for assisting with day to day operations of HR functions and duties.
Hybrid working is available, working part-time from either the Rugby or East Midlands based office.
This role is available to both graduates and candidates with experience looking to continue their career in HR. You will also be supported with training and progression routes.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Team
Compile and update employee records
Manage new starters through induction processes
Answer employee queries and requests regarding human resources rules, regulations, etc.
Assist with recruitment for the business
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Assist recruiters to source candidates and update the database
Compiling and sending regular and ad-hoc reports
· Graduated with a Human Resources related degree / qualification and/or have experience in the role
· Be able to demonstrate initiative and work to deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Have a passion for people and an interest in HR systems, policies and procedures
· Ability to manage conflicting priorities
