Based in Derby, our client is one of the UK's leading construction contractors who operate on a regional basis. They are a privately owned contractor with a strong regional and national presence that retains a family feel to their business.
Our client is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to support the growth of the operational team and the ongoing delivery of new and existing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Construction Contractor who are going through a period of growth. The role will include project delivery and pre construction for schemes throughout the UK. Schemes will be high value, complex builds that will be both interesting and challenging.
You will need have operated as a visiting Contracts Manager for a construction main contractor, overseeing a couple of project teams tasked with delivering schemes on time and to budget.
You will also need to have worked with pre construction to supporting tender submittal for new schemes. Projects will include Education, Student Accommodation, Mixed Use, Commercial and healthcare.
Excellent reporting skills both internally and externally
Projects experience up to 7m in value
Good communicator at all levels
Willing to travel nationally to projects throughout the UK.
To work with the Construction Director to deliver the organisations goals and growth plans
Day to day management of the project teams
To work with the pre construction team to support the wining of new work.
Network through the local construction market to grow the companies profile
Competitive with the current market place and with a basic salary between £60,000 to £65,000 DOE, car allowance or company car and full benefits package.
