Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to join one of the UK's leading interior design consultancy at their Birmingham office.
My client specialises in office designs, refurbishment, interior fit-out, relocation, and corporate furniture systems. They offer over 25 years of experience in this industry with 80% of customers returning for their next projects, and always operate with can-do attitude and human-centric approach. Roles & Responsibilities as a Commercial Manager will include:
Reporting to the Commercial Director
Putting together bids to win new business
Negotiating and agreeing contracts
Drawing up bids for work
Monitoring inflation and exchange rates
Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments
Taking responsibility for the financial management of projects valued from £200k up to £3million
Adhering to regulatory guidelines
Identifying and weighing up commercial risks and health and safety requirements
Strategically expanding, preserving or improving company procedures, standards or policies
Estimating quantities, costs and time scales and ensuring they're in line with forecasts
Assigning work to subcontractors
Ensuring that clients get value for their money
Requirements for the role of Commercial Manager:
