​Atkins Search are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a South Yorkshire based principal contractor as they look to develop the business company in line with the organisation's strategic plans.

 

Client

With a strong regional presence throughout the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, my client are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Preconstruction team to develop relationships with both new and existing clients to continue growing a sustainable pipeline of workload allied to strategy.

 

The Role

Clients are from both the public and private sectors including residential, commercial, education and healthcare schemes of up to circa £50m in value. You will also be involved in hosting networking events, developing CRM systems and contributing to bid and marketing processes.

 

The Person

 ·         Well networked in the local construction sector

·         A background in preconstruction from tender identification to tender submittal

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         A good networker and an ability to develop opportunities through industry knowledge and historic relationships
