We are currently working with a Lincolnshire based main contractor to recruit a Bid Writer to join their pre construction team.
You will work the Bid Manager and Pre Construction team to provide Bid Writing solutions to the business. To be suitable for this role you will need to have worked in a similar capacity as a Bid Writer, ideally for a construction or civil engineering company, although out of sector applicants will be considered.
Act as the main Bid Writer for the business.
Create bid winning content by utilising historic information and new concepts.
Clearly communicate in the bids the construction methodology for the schemes.
Work on both Public and Private sectors bids.
Attend bid/ no bid meetings.
Work with the Bid Manager and team to determine the bid winning strategy.
Agree allocation of responsibilities.
Work with the internal stakeholders to create best practice responses to bid questions.
Be the main point of contact for completing PQQ’s and ITT’s and creating a one voice bid.
Deliver the bid on time and to the highest possible standards.
Review win/ no win bids to identify areas of improvement and positive client results.
