Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join an award winning Consultancy based in the Midlands. This role is predominately working from home / site for the foreseeable future.

The opportunity is a hands on, client facing role whilst also overseeing the Civils team and acting as a mentor to junior team members, providing advice and guidance utilising your previous project knowledge. Within this role you will be responsible for coordinating work with the rest of the Roads, Highways & Drainage team and working on a variety of exciting new projects varying in size.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

5 years + experience as a Chartered Engineer
Excellent knowledge of roads, earthworks, highways and drainage design principles
Good understanding of section agreements including S38 and S278, legislative requirements and design standards
Working knowledge of leading industry software packages (i.e. Microdrainage, Civil 3D, Microstation, etc)
Experience in a consultancy environment working on multi-disciplined projects
A confident team leader and mentor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
