Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading housing developer based in central Nottingham.

Our Client

Our client is a 5* leading residential developer based in Nottingham who have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their commercial team.

The Role

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor would be helping to develop sites across the Midlands from the Nottingham office. The company are a 5* developer and produce homes from 2 bed apartments to larger detached homes. Our client is looking for a keen and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the already successful and established commercial team.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:

  • Cost planning

  • Feasibility evaluation

  • Preparing expenditure statements

  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor

  • Project control

  • Site visits

  • Asses building replacement values

  • Assisting in conducting an LCA (life cycle assessment)

  • Arranging payments

The Graduate Quantity Surveyor position will require:

  • Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management degree

  • Full UK drivers’ licence

  • Self- motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

  • good communication and interpersonal skills
