Nicole’s 4-Year Anniversary 

Nicole Broughton joined Atkins Search in 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant in the residential sector, bringing a commitment to doing right by her clients and candidates within the Residential construction sector. Since then, she transitioned over to the Consultancy team and has continued to raise the bar.

Through her consistent performance, Nicole has progressed through the business and is now a Managing Consultant specialising in the construction consultancy sector across the East and West Midlands. She has played a key role in developing this market, building strong long-term relationships and becoming a trusted partner to both clients and candidates across the Midlands. 

Nicole has been recognised multiple times as Employee of the Quarter and has achieved some spectacular results, earning her numerous awards throughout the year such as Player’s Player and Core Values Award. She regularly represents Atkins Search at industry networking events, making her a highly respected consultant throughout the Midlands construction sector, known for her professionalism and people-first approach. 

We asked Nicole to reflect on her 4 years at Atkins Search so far: 

“Four years ago, I took a leap and joined Atkins Search. Looking back, it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 

Most people will agree that finding a job you truly love is rare. Finding one where you’re surrounded by people who share your values, vision, and drive is even rarer. Yet here I am, happier than ever, and part of a truly incredible team. 

Reaching this milestone has been a great moment to pause and reflect. Promotions, a move into management, countless training courses and networking events, influencing internal training, a couple of awards and most importantly, long-term, meaningful relationships with some absolute legends in the industry. 

Beyond the professional growth, the memories with this team deserve their own highlight reel. Mountains climbed, miles racked up both near and far, a wolf run survived, culinary expert-level status achieved (fine dining, pub grub, and everything in between), Uber boats commandeered, karaoke stages conquered, the legendary launch of Battle of the Barrys (if you know, you know), fuddles galore, race days, Alton Towers chaos, quizzes, sports days, badminton battles, paddle escapades… and that’s just scratching the surface of our wonderfully random adventures. 

These four years have absolutely flown by, and that only makes me more excited for the future.
